Whether you fancy making something beautifully traditional, a little wonky or completely your own, we'll guide you through the process of creating and decorating your pumpkin from scratch.
Bring along your favourite drink, settle in around the pottery table and enjoy an autumn evening doing something a little different.

We'll guide you through the hand-building process, showing you how to create your pumpkin using simple pottery techniques. You'll learn how to shape your clay, build up its form and add your own finishing touches.
Add a stalk, create texture and experiment with different decorative details to give your pumpkin its own personality. Whether you prefer a traditional autumn look or something a little more playful, the design is entirely up to you.
This is an adults-only BYOB evening, so you're welcome to bring along your favourite drink, whether that's a glass of wine, something fizzy or a nice cup of tea.

Once you've made your pumpkin, it's time to give it some personality!
Experiment with different shapes, textures and decorative details to create something completely your own.
You'll have the option to hand-paint your pumpkin with underglazes during the workshop, or choose from a selection of studio glazes for us to apply after the first firing.
Whether you fancy a traditional autumnal pumpkin, something beautifully understated or a more colourful creation, we'll help you achieve the look you're after.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! No experience is necessary. We'll show you how to make your ceramic pumpkin, one step at a time.
What should I wear?
Choose comfortable clothing that can get a little muddy, and please tie back long hair.
Can I bring a drink?
Yes! Pumpkin & Pour is an adults-only BYOB workshop. Feel free to bring along your preferred alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.
How can I decorate my pumpkin?
You can paint it with underglazes during the session or select a studio glaze for us to apply later. Your ticket covers all glazing and firing.
Will I take my pumpkin home that evening?
Not just yet! We'll keep it at the studio while it dries and goes through the glazing and firing process. We aim to have everything ready to collect before Halloween, but cannot promise a specific collection date.
How old do I need to be?
All participants must be aged 18 or over.
Where can I find you, and can I park?
Our address is Unit 4A, Vinalls Business Centre, Nep Town Road, Henfield, BN5 9DZ. You can park on site or along Broomfield Road.
When should I get there?
Aim to arrive 5–10 minutes early so everyone is ready when the workshop starts.
