Welcome to Henfield Pottery.

We're a friendly pottery studio tucked away in the heart of Henfield, West Sussex, where muddy hands, wonky pots and happy accidents are all part of the process.

Whether you're completely new to clay, looking to develop your skills, or searching for a creative space to unwind, you've found the right place.

At Henfield Pottery, we believe pottery should be enjoyable, accessible and just the right amount of messy. There's something incredibly satisfying about turning a lump of clay into something that's uniquely yours, even if it doesn't quite turn out as planned the first time around.

After all, every potter has a shelf of "learning experiences".

FOUNDER & TUTOR

Kayleigh holds a First Class BA (Hons) degree in 3D Design and Craft and has years of experience working with ceramics, both through her own practice and producing work commercially for companies and other artists.

Her teaching style is relaxed, supportive and grounded in professional knowledge. Whether you are learning to throw, hand building or developing your own ideas, she want you to enjoy the process, grow in confidence and feel proud of what you make.

TUTOR & TECHNICIAN

With a love for clay and a real passion for making, Ginette brings creativity, patience and a calm energy to every session.
She enjoys helping students develop their skills and confidence, whether they're just beginning their pottery journey or building on existing experience. You'll often find Ginette keeping the studio running smoothly behind the scenes while offering friendly advice and encouragement on the studio floor.

TUTOR & TECHNICIAN

Susie has years of experience working with clay and a keen eye for surface, colour and detail.
Her warm, approachable nature makes the studio a welcoming place to ask questions, try new techniques and enjoy the creative process. Whether you're looking for practical guidance or a little extra confidence, Susie is always happy to share her knowledge and help bring your ideas to life.
